28312-Jan-2019EarbyOrganised by Liz Maskell and John Conway. A good turnout for this first walk of the new year. Twenty two walkers and four dogs tramped around the eastern edge of our county on a mild, windy and drizzly day. The fresh air and company were good despite the dullness of the weather.

2859-Mar-2019Hebden CircularA 7.5 mile route around Hebden and Grassington. Organised by Stuart Hirst and Alan Walkden. For a day that started with black storm clouds and torrential rain, this walk around a historical industrial landscape in the Yorkshire dales, turned out to be superb. Fine throughout with long sunny spells, no-one would have forecast such a good outcome, so we were blessed with splendid views over Wharfedale, the peaks of Yorkshire and Lancashire.A turn-out of 12 walkers and surprisingly, no dogs.
28613-Apr-2019Irwell Valley Sculture TrailAnother exploration of former industrial landscape, this time a seven mile walk around the Rossendale Valley. Lunch overlooking the valley with the steam train passing by on cue. Organised by Graham Harwood.
28711-May-2019Kirkby LonsdaleA lovely 8 mile walk up Barbondale, around Barbon Low Fell, lunch on Brownthwaite and a return via Whelprigg. Organised by Alan Walkden.
28815-Jun-2019Eskdale Saturday walkWalking weekend in Eskdale Cumbria. The main party ascended Harter Fell and obtained stunning views of the Scafell range and further afield. Led by Graham Harwood. A joint dinner followed in the evening.
28916-Jun-2019Eskdale Sunday walkWalking weekend in Eskdale Cumbria. A trip on Old Ratty to Ravenglass with a walk back to Eskdale via Muncaster Fell. The group dined at the Bridgehouse Inn in the evening. Led by Vanessa Yates.
