2387-Feb-2015Strawbury Duck CircularA good turn-out of 26 walkers and three dogs for this pleasant and sociable seven mile route around the reservoirs of Turton and Edgeworth.The winter weather was fine, dry and there was hardly any mud underfoot. Walk leader: Stuart Hirst.
2397-Mar-2015Hodder Valley, Dunsop BridgeA lovely walk to Crag Stones attended by 14 walkers on a day with a hint of spring where it wasn't cold out of the wind but was in it. Somewhere we haven't been before and it provided shelter from the wind whilst we had lunch and could look at inscriptions over a hundred years old. Leader: Annette Patterson.

2417-Jun-2015Langwathby and Long Meg and her Daughters in the Eden ValleyTwenty four years since we last visted this location north of Penrith, this is a fitting celebration for our thirtieth anniversary. This will be a train assisted walk using Dales Rail to get to Lazonby and include stopping for a meal before returning in the evening. Meet Wilpshire Station for the 09:30am train. 24326-Sep-2015GrindletonAn eight mile walk around Grindleton starting from Bowland school started our 2015/2016 season. Ably led by Julie Foote, fourteen walkers and two dogs enjoyed some pleasant early autumn weather with splendid views from the north side of the Ribble Valley.
24418-Oct-2015Majestic PendleA ten mile ramble around our iconic Lancashire hill. Typical for Pendle we had mist but the company was bright and thirteen walkers and a spaniel had a picnic lunch on the beach at Churn Clough reservoir. It starting in Barley at 10:am on Sunday because the hill was full of fell runners the day before. The walk was varied and took us to some of the less frequented areas of the hill. The Barley Mow provided post-walk refreshments.
24514-Nov-2015Hoghton and Leeds Liverpool canalAn eight mile easy walk starting in Pleasington and going to Hoghton. November turned out to be the wettest on record but four stalwart ramblers attended regardless and managed to enjoy the route without a soaking. Walk organinser: Tony Gaffney.
24619-Dec-2015Under Wolf FellPostponed from the 5th December due to continuing gales and rain and postponed until summer 2016 because of continuing storms and floods. Starting from the car park in Chipping, a seven mile exploration of this lovely part of Lancashire. Walk leader: Andy Clayton.
