243 | 26-Sep-2015 | Grindleton | An eight mile walk around Grindleton starting from Bowland school started our 2015/2016 season. Ably led by Julie Foote, fourteen walkers and two dogs enjoyed some pleasant early autumn weather with splendid views from the north side of the Ribble Valley. |
244 | 18-Oct-2015 | Majestic Pendle | A ten mile ramble around our iconic Lancashire hill. Typical for Pendle we had mist but the company was bright and thirteen walkers and a spaniel had a picnic lunch on the beach at Churn Clough reservoir. It starting in Barley at 10:am on Sunday because the hill was full of fell runners the day before. The walk was varied and took us to some of the less frequented areas of the hill. The Barley Mow provided post-walk refreshments. |

November turned out to be the wettest on record but four stalwart ramblers attended regardless and managed to enjoy the route without a soaking. Walk organinser: Tony Gaffney. |
