| 244 | 18-Oct-2015 | Majestic Pendle | A ten mile ramble around our iconic Lancashire hill. Typical for Pendle we had mist but the company was bright and thirteen walkers and a spaniel had a picnic lunch on the beach at Churn Clough reservoir. It starting in Barley at 10:am on Sunday because the hill was full of fell runners the day before. The walk was varied and took us to some of the less frequented areas of the hill. The Barley Mow provided post-walk refreshments. |
